We are excited to have pacers from Ambleside Athletic club. They will be there for those runners looking for some help around the course to reach their desired goals. The times being paced are 2 hours, 2 hours 15 minutes and 2 hours 30 minutes.
* Turn down Lake Road and continue past school buildings to park on playing fields. * Parking fee is £3, please have correct money ready. * For runners’ safety no exit is possible for cars before 2pm.(Road Closed) * if you need to leave early use village centre car parks. * N.B Coaches should use the Information Centre Car Park.

* No need to check in. * Entry enquiries in school hall. * Changing and showering facilities. * Refreshments prepared by the school PTA. * Photos of past events. * Live music on site.
Please follow the Race Marshals’ instructions. * There are two CATTLE GRIDS on the route between miles 4 and 6. Grid 1 Go to the left of grid, through the gate and back onto the road. Grid 2 Cross the grid. It will be covered and safe but follow any instructions from the marshals. * Be aware of traffic on the route – keep left at all times * Avoid running 3 or 4 abreast. * Dogs and cyclists following the run are not permitted. * For your own safety, headsets are not permitted. PLEASE take all gel tubes back with you do not discard them on the route.* WATER STATIONS will be at Torver (3 miles), Water Yeat (6 miles), Water Park (8 miles) and Beck Leven (11 miles). * FIRST AID STATIONS will be sited at the School and approximately half way round the course. * It is your responsibility to check any health issues. Other runners should pay the non-club registration fee to be insured.

PLEASE NOTE: Road Closure – The road from Torver to Coniston will be closed from 10.50-11.20 for the start of the Race and Lake Road from 12.15 – 14.00 for the finish.
